NavCamp Rider Onboarding Guide

NavCamp is live, and riders are a big part of how it works. This guide covers what to expect as a rider on campus.

You do not accept or decline rides

The biggest thing to understand: there are no accept or decline buttons.

Matching is handled by the system. When a student requests a ride, NavCamp looks at where riders are and where they are headed, and adds the student to the queue of a rider whose route already passes near them. You do not choose trips one by one — if a student is along your path or close to your route, they are added to your trip automatically.

Your queue is built around your path

Only students going the same way end up in your queue. The app also orders your stops to keep your total distance down, so you can carry multiple passengers in one trip without backtracking.

Before you request a pickup, you can check Campus Live to see how many students are waiting, so you know when demand is high.

Going online is still your call

The online / offline toggle is yours. Go online when you are ready to take rides, and go offline anytime — requests stop reaching you. When you are online, your location is shared with students matched to you so they can follow the trip on the map.

Getting paid

• Wallet rides are credited to your balance as soon as the trip is completed.
• Cash rides are logged separately, so you always know what you collected in hand.
• Withdrawals can be requested from the app with your bank details whenever you want to cash out.

Your earnings dashboard shows today’s earnings, your wallet balance, and your total rides completed at a glance.

The flow in short

1. Go online.
2. Students along your path are added to your queue automatically.
3. Drive your route, marking each pickup and drop-off.
4. Collect — wallet rides credit instantly, cash rides are logged.
5. Request a payout whenever you are ready.
